Grade 9 World History & Civics
This portal invites ninth-grade scholars to explore how ideas, inventions,
and institutions shape people’s lives and how informed citizens shape them back.

In Weeks 1–21, students trace global connections from the Renaissance through industrialization (c. 1450–1900), practicing historical thinking with source analysis, cause-and-effect, and argument writing.
In Weeks 22–42, we pivot to Civics & Government, applying those same inquiry skills to constitutional principles, rights and responsibilities, and real-world policy questions.
Each day offers self-paced practice (15 items), immediate feedback, and mastery badges, with rolling grades and midterm/final options to track growth.
Above all, this space champions clarity, evidence, respectful debate, and service so learners leave not only knowing what happened and why, but also ready to participate thoughtfully in their communities.
